Donation to restore building of SMK St. Joseph
Minister for Local government and Housing, Dato’ Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian expressed gladness that ex- Josephian has come forward to give donation for the restoration of SMK St Joseph Mill Hill Block.
In response to the call for more funds to complete the SMK ST JOSEPH Mill Hill Block Restoration an exJosephian had came forward to donate RM200,000.
The Director SAR-ALAM INDAH SDN BHD Nor Qamarulzaman Bin Osman presented a mock cheque to the President of Old Josephians Association YB Dato Sri Prof Sim Kui Hian , witness by Dato C C Lee of Weida, Dato Sri JC Fong Board of Management member and others.
Dr. Sim thanked SAR-Alam Indah Sdn Bhd for their generous donation called on more fellas Josephians to come forward to support this most worthy school restoration project.
The Mill Hill Block at SMK St Joseph here has undergone extensive restoration costing RM5.5 million over a period of seven and half months to restore the buildings and is short of RM 3 million.
Nine classrooms will be restored, the school office and staff rooms for staff and teachers will be upgraded with the addition of a new exhibition hall and lecture room.
