Roads upgrading in Batu Kawa
A total cost of RM 3.3 million road upgrading project has started to take shape in Batu Kawah.
Batu Kawah assemblyman, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian witnessed the awarding of the project from Padawan Municipal Council to a contractor.
“I will always ensure that the residents in Batu Kawa constituent can enjoy better infrastructure, thus, I had applied RM3.3 million development fund from Sarawak government to upgrade all road to individual houses here”, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian, Minister for Local government and Housing.
The funding is under GPS government’s RTP project.
Dr Sim also express his appreciation to SUPP Segobang sub-branch committee members and area chief in assisting Padawan Municipal Council on their surveying work as it helped the council to complete their project open tender process within the stipulated period.
Sim reminded contract to adhere to the project work schedule and deliver quality result on the upgrading project which has awarded to them.
