Helping the fire victims
Sarawak Local Government and Housing Minister, Dato Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian witnessed the handing over by Mohamad Asman Ahmad, CEO of Housing Development Corporation Sarawak (HDC) to a fire victim whose house was razed recently at RPR Batu Kawa.
Dr, Sim said the victim was looking for a place to stay as she is waiting for fire insurance to assess the loss.
He strongly recommended house owners to get fire insurance in case of tragedy happening. Dr. Sim said no one wants to have their house burned but with fire insurance payout, at least they have some financial security.
