Limit traveling to avoid infected, says Michael Tiang
SUPP Central Youth Chief, Michael Tiang advised Sarawakians not to travel this time to avoid being infected by Covid 19 which was declared by WHO as a pandemic.
Tiang said Sarawak will not have the facilities or expertise to control the disease if there was an outbreak.
He urged all Sarawakians to join force to fight this disease by not going out of Sarawak during school holidays while those outside Sarawak not to return back for all Souls Day which falls on beginning of next month.
Stating that prevention is better than cured, Tiang urged the public to follow the advice of Sarawak disaster unit for updates and also SUPP President, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hianfor any latest updates on covid-19.
He said it is also good not to go to crowded places unnecessary and urged anyone who is ill to go immediately to any general hospital as the treatment is free.
Tiang added that everyone has to ensure hygiene as it is the best prevention.
