Call for snap election.

Political Secretary to the CM, Michael Tiang calls for a snap poll to deal with the political unrest in recent days.

Tiang said through these few days of political impasses, the immediate and biggest victims are the people. Not the politicians who lost their ministerial posts and powers in Putrajaya, said SUPP central youth Chief, Michael Tiang.

Tiang who is also SUPP Youth Central Chief said Malaysian economy has not recovered since GE14, with this ongoing political turmoils we are heading towards dismal swamp.

He said recently the country lost RM43 billion from the investment market the first 2 days of the political drama. Malaysian ringgit grew weaker and the coronavirus outbreak is not even over yet!!! The people’s issues and crisis are left unattended, he said in dismay.

Tiang pointed out that the people pay the heaviest prices when the Pakatan Harapan government failed.

“Therefore it is only right to dissolve the parliament and let the people to decide and choose the new government that focuses on the ppl agenda, not their political’s one. It’s shame that both DAP and PKR holding the most seats in the parliament had have no intention to ask for the parliament to be dissolved and let the people to decide. Are they too afraid to face the poll again?” he asked.

He told PH that in democracy, it is the people’s wishes that are paramount, not the elected representatives! No politicians and political parties should be above the people!, he added.
