Batu Kawa students receives school items
100 Batu Kawah students have a nice end to their year as they received their school items from Batu Kawah State assemblyman Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian end of the year.
The given out school items, which included school bag, was sponsored by members of SUPP and SUPP Batu Kawah Service Centre.
During the handover ceremony, Dr. Sim emphasize that such aid is meant to reduce the parents’ burden of the needed students from different races in Batu Kawah constituency and to encourage them to study harder even though they are from poorer families, because there are always many good Samaritans who prepare to help them.
He reiterate that Sarawak government take it very seriously on Sarawakians’ education issue, besides the implementation of free school bus service this year, there are also RM300 million loan from Yayasan Sarawak for Sarawakian apply in order to reduce their economy burden.
