Tackle annual haze problem, Milton tells Federal government

Federal government is never serious or concern about the haze situation in Sarawak. All their concern is our natural resources and wealth or how to topple Sarawak Government to change a new government in Sarawak as shown in the recent talks by the Malayan leaders in Kuching during 916 celebrations, SUPP Youth Secretary General, Milton Foo said.

“They only show Malayan their concern but not the Sarawakian’s. The haze in West Malaysia such as Klang Valley is nothing if compared to Sarawak with three areas in Klang Valley of Cheras, PJ and Putrajaya total up is 418 but in Sri Aman here, API readings was at one point 414.

“Aren’t we the people of Sarawak Malaysians too? If yes, why was there no assistance of any kind rendered to Sarawak when haze worsened since last week? Even the give out of masks to students/schools in Sarawak is not N95 type but normal one which can’t help our children at all to prevent from respiratory or eyes infections/diseases.

Foo said costs of cloud seeding was also fully absorbed by Sarawak Government. Not a single penny expended by the Federal Government in the fight against the worsening haze condition in Sarawak. He wondered what is PH Sarawak especially Sarawak DAP and PKR have done so far to help Sarawakian.
