Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) party secretariat
SUPP reiterates and stands by its press release made on 21st June 2019 with regards to the civil forfeiture suit filed by MACC against 41 entities and persons.
The news by Utusan Borneo, The Borneo Post and See Hua Daily News on 27th June 2019 purportedly quoting the Party President YB Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian, acknowledging that the money received by SUPP was from 1MDB was incorrect and thus misleading.
We note that Sin Chew Daily and International Times (e-newspaper) did not carry such news.
The Party President said the Party had made a press statement and there was nothing else to add.
