Project hands over to contractor
A project to upgrade the drains was handed over yesterday by MPP Chairman, Lo Khere Chiang with MPP engineering section at Jalan Burung Lilin.
The drainage upgrading works will be constructing a 2 meter drain from Jalan Burung Lilin to Jalan Burung Kawok (right side) and connect to culvert at main road.
The new 2 meter drain will be able to discharge water from the housing estate area to Hui Sing Garden’s stream via Jalan Burung Kawok thru Hua Joo Park.
This flood mitigation project by MPP is worth RM1 million and the contractor, Lucky-Best Construction Sdn. Bhd have been given 5 months to complete the project.
