Tan Kai visits Siburan Clinic
Political Secretary in Chief Minister Department Tan Kai paid a visit to Siburan Clinic and was dismayed to find that the clinic is in a wodden block which is old and has insufficient facilities. He called to the Health Ministry to do something to help the patients in Siburan area.
He said the clinic has only one ambulance. Tan Kai went for a follow up as Lai Kim who was ferried to Serian hospital for treatment died on the way. The ambulance driver was said to be filling petrol.
Tan Kai urges Chong Chieng Jen, Deputy Minister to be proactive and more aggressive to fight for upgrading of the clinic in Siburan, after all, the clinic is overloaded with patients not only from Siburan , but also cater for patients from Tarat and Beratok villages.
