Luak Bay hawker centre
Datuk Sebastian Ting visited Luak Bay for RTP project to see the construction of hawker stalls in the area.
Ting went with the council officer and contractor to see how the project would map out. The approved amount for the project, he said is RM600,000.
He said work will start today and expected to end in May this year over a four-month period.
Thanking all the present hawkers who have co-operated by moving to a temporary site, Ting said they could move back as soon as work is completed with a better working environment condition.
A total of 50 stalls would be constructed. He also thanked the Council for amicably settled the issue of moving the hawkers to a temporary site.
