YB Lo Khere Chiang new year wishes

To my constituents, supporters, friends and colleagues: Thank you for allowing me to serve as your MPP Council Chairman and as your DUN representative for N13 Batu Kitang. Thank you for your friendship. I am honoured and humbled by the trust you have placed in me.

My wish for Sarawak is that we will be able to manage our own resources, get back our autonomy, and what has been due to us since independence so that we can progress by leaps and bounds for 2019.

To my staff at Padawan City Council, thank you for your dedication to the issues we care deeply about, particularly on flood mitigation, roadworks, traffic and refuse collection issues.

We will continue our programmes on educating young people on the danger of drug abuse through sports. Thank you to all for your partnership on the encouragement and training of rural folks in small businesses.There also remains much to be done on educating the public on garbage littering and recycling.

This is a pivotal time for Sarawak. We must work together to ensure that our eroded rights are returned to us under MA 63 and that our oil and gas resources are spent thoughtfully and carefully in a manner that expands our economy and supports those most in need in a racially harmonious society.

To everyone, I wish you a happy and healthy new year, and much success for 2019.
