Chong should think before speaking
Secretary of SUPP youth Central, Milton Foo blasted Deputy Trade and Consumer Affairs, Chong Chieng Jen to think before speaking.
Foo was telling off Chong for asking Sarawak government to utilize its loaded reserve of RM34 billion to repair dilapidated schools in Sarawak.
“I want to question Chong and asked him that education as of today, is an obligation from Federal government as agreed in the Constitution. So, how can a Federal deputy minister utter such statement and push that responsibility back to the State,” he said.
Foo liken that to a married couple where the husband who is supposed to be taking care of the family asked the wife to get her savings to provide for the family.
He said Chong should stop making silly statement and start getting active to do his job. Stop telling all the good stories to Sarawakians and keep their hopes up while at the same time not fulfilling the promises made. He said in the long run, people can see through his tactics.
