Beware PH, because of their broken promises: Sim Kiang Chiok
Sarawakians who voted PH on May 9 were surely disappointed with the budget 2019 now, said SUPP Stakan Chairman.
He stated that the votes for PH in the last GE 14 showed that a good number of Sarawakians supported the political platform that PH presented to them in their manifesto and campaigns.
Sim pointed out that voters were promised and their hopes shattered by PH. It included:-
1) 20% oil royalty, instead they got 5% royalty and maybe 20% of profits at no certain timeline.
2) equal or 33.33% of development spending, instead they got 1.4% of development spending.
3) more low cost housing, instead they got reduction of 5% in the worth of all existing property through the Real Property Gain Tax on all property transaction after 5 year.
4) Bantuan Sara Hidup which was BR1M, was reduced to RM500 from Rm 2000.
5) Fisherman Assistance is now zero
6)Farmers assistance, zero now
7) PTPTN loans still have to pay
8) No reduction in petrol
Sim added that these were some of the glaring examples and that SUPP Stakan Branch respects the decision of the people to have a change in government at the Federal level but they were taken for a wild ride as the 100 days manifesto were not fulfilled.
PH Sarawak leaders were proven to be just minions of their Malayan political masters. Sarawak PH leaders are actively not fighting at all for Sarawak but were being used by their masters to attack Sarawakians for voicing our concerns, said Sim.
We, he added, in SUPP Stakan urge all Sarawakian to take note of all the lies and deceit being levied at us and to keep track of them. We will need to remind ourselves not to be fool again by them.
He called to Sarawakians to unite and there is a strong need to fight back. Sarawakians, he said, should be wiser not to be taken in by sweet empty promises again. We, in Sarawak should be run by Sarawak-based parties who are capable of fighting for us.
