SUPP Stakan: DAP and PKR are under Malayan leadership
SUPP Stakan Branch committee and members stand resolutely behind the leadership of their President YB Sen.Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian and the stewardship of the Sarawak government under the new captain of team Adenan in the person of YB Datuk Pattinggi Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Bin Tun Abang Hj. Openg.
We are perplexed and disappointed with the voters who chose the leadership of the opposition in Sarawak namely DAP and PKR for not making Sarawak first in their agenda. DAP and PKR being Malayan political parties, are obligated to ‘kautau” or be submissive to their Malayan masters because they both receive instructions from their masters in Malaya. The two parties are also unable to prioritise Sarawak because the seat of power of both these parties also lay in Malaya with their Malayan masters.
We in Sarawak have seen this in action with the installation of a Malayan from Perak as the PKR chief in Sarawak, and the sacking of YB Fung Pau Teck in Pujut Miri by DAP oligarchs in Malaya. The two episodes are constant reminders to us Sarawakians that we need to vote Sarawakian political entities to represent us in the DUN and Parliament.
Now we see that PKR and DAP are still very much in the control of Malaya with a new master in the person of Tun Mahathir. Again we see the two parties making great efforts to disrupt or block our efforts to regain our lost rights as per the MA63.
Recently when our CM Abang Jo announced the reinstatement of our territorial rights in mining both upstream and downstream, we see DAP and PKR in Sarawak making great efforts to confuse the public and risk the very rights of all Sarawakians merely for their political gains. They choose to ignore proper procedure and insist that we allow the Malayans to keep control of these rights by recognising the Territorial Sea Act and the Petrol Development Acts. DAP and PKR refused to accept that both the acts are ultra vires the Constitution of Malaysia which makes them void and not applicable in the case of Sarawak.
SUPP Stakan calls for the Sarawakians in DAP and PKR to either join us in SUPP for our fight towards the restoring our rights in MA63, join a Sarawakian oposition political party or by all means form your own local based political party. We plead with you all to put Sarawak first.
Here in Sarawak we have clearly stated as a matter of policy that the Chinese and Indians are not “pendatang”. Sadly the opposition today is headed by the very person who established and advise Perkasa and Ibrahim Ali, who is the lead spokesperson for the notion of “pendatang”.
The opposition leader and choice for Prime Minister Tun Mahathir is the very person who created racial division and tensions in Malaysia by supporting the ultra right extremist movement. In fact Tun Mahathir shares an award presented by PERKASA only with Zakir Naik the religious extremist wanted in India and Interpol. The opposition and people in Sarawak should reject this poisonous leadership. Instead they (the opposition in Sarawak) are embracing Tun Mahathir the father of ISA and the biggest miss user of the Emergency Ordinance.
During his 22 years in power the two Acts were abused to exert his iron grip on the country. Anybody who went against him was jailed without trial. With the two laws, most of our rights were taken from us. Even our politicians were powerless to stop him. Great heroes of our state like the Late Datuk Amar James Wong Kim Min here in Sarawak and Datuk Sri Dr Maximus Ongkili in Sabah were both jailed without trial for their defiance.
SUPP Stakan urges all Sarawakians to not make the costly mistake by turning the clock backwards. We live in a better society today thanks to the repeal of the ISA and the E.O. by our current leadership. With our Sarawak slowly but surely gaining back its rights we must now go all in for Sarawak. The Sarawak government needs more of SUPP YB’s from the new generation to be in the Parliament so that the State’s agenda can continue.
