Blue Army against Teras in Barisan
Legal Advisor to SUPP, Milton Foo, who launched a campaign of “Anti-Teras (Parti Tenaga Rakyat Sarawak) into Barisan Nasional (BN), kick-started off in Kuching last night with a strong 34 youth members calling themselves the Blue Army.
Foo said their motive was to protest against the admission of Teras into BN and to uphold the BN Spirit.
He said they will also demand for the resignation of State Assemblymen who deserted from SUPP to join another party.
Similar protest rallies will be held in Kuching, Sarikei, Sibu, Miri, Bintulu and other towns.
“We will fight on without fear and at all cost against TERAS’ opportunistic act of applying to join BN. The acts of deviation and hopping tantamount to an act of betraying the party and thus it has every reason to contend that they are no longer qualified to act as an elected representative of the people who had won their state election under Supp/BN ticket,” said Foo during a press conference.
The group were clad in blue with yellow bands.
Former Sibu Chairman, Dato’ seri Wong Soon Koh with three state assemblyman, Datuk Dr, Jerip Susil (Bengoh), Ranum Mina(Opar) and Jonicol Rayang (Engkilili) teamed up with former Sarawak Progressive Democratic party, TAn Sri William Mawan to form Teras on May 15 creating an uproar among SPDP, SUPP and PRS.
