SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap was recently approached by the business community of Kota Sentosa commercial area during his regular walkabout in the area.

The traders had asked for his assistance to request Majlis Perbandaran Padawan (MPP) to replace missing drain covers posing a danger to the public. The traders had also requested that MPP carry out improvement and repair works for certain sections along a  stretch of Jalan Liew Shan Phan in front of the 7^th Mile Wet Market due to its unsatisfactory condition which causes it to be water logged at certain section after it rains. Their request is made because of the heavy traffic using this stretch of road.

Wilfred Yap had gone to inspect and assess the situation and to see what can be done to resolve the problem.

Thé missing drain covers have since been replaced and that the repair and resurfacing works have been completed to the satisfaction of the complainants.
