Datuk Sebastian: keep our environment clean
State Assemblyman for Piasau, Datuk Sebastian Ting called to Kampung folks at Kpg Lereng Bukit to keep their environment clean and healthy for themselves and their future generations.
In a gotong royong event organised by Local Agenda 21 under Miri City Council, Ting pointed out that it is important to increase the awareness of the cleanliness in all residential area
He said there has been occasions where the weather all over the world is getting freaky with heavy downpour during hot seasons.
Ting said it is the duty of all to keep the environment clean as we are doing ourselves a favour. “Thus recycling rubbish and planting flowers is an important aspect to keep the surrounding clean and fresh,” he said.
Ting also joined the villagers to plant flowers.
