Dr Sim accompanying PM on China visit
SUPP secretary-general Dr Sim Kui Hian will represent SUPP to follow Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak official visit group to Beijing China this month.
SUPP Publicity Chief, Dato’ Sebastian Ting in a statement said the official visit is intended to celebrate the 40th anniversary of
establishment of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China.
“Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib’s father, Malaysia second prime minister Tun Abdul Razak bin Hussein, led his party cabinet members and official delegates to Beijing, China 40 years ago (1974).”
“During that time, the representative from SUPP is former Sarawak deputy chief minister Tan Sri Sim Kheng Hong.”
It is thus significant that 40 years later, Tun Abdul Razak bin Hussein son, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, once again led the official delegation to China, and also, Tan Sri Sim Kheng Hong son, Dr Sim Kui Hian, will represent SUPP.
On May 26th to June 1, SUPP Youth Central, Tan Kai will be going on a similar trip but led by Youth and Sports Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin.
