CM: BN coalition will support SUPP in GE14
Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg who is also State Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman, said the ruling coalition will support Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) in the coming GE14.
He stressed this during his speech at the SUPP TDC today at its hq.
He added there is no need to quarrel and those who had left the party should come back (to SUPP).
Abang Johari said leaders who had parted ways with SUPP can always embrace the BN coalition party again, adding that the PBB (Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu) had experienced it too as this is politics.
He urged them to return if their heart is for the people and not for personal gain.
Abang Johari urged that SUPP, together with BN, must strive to wrest the lost parliamentary seats from the opposition in the next general election.
The lost SUPP parliamentary constituencies are Bandar Kuching, Stampin, Sarikei, Sibu, Lanang and Miri.
