SUPP: no contest for party’s top five posts
President of SUPP, Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian said there will be no contest for the party’s top five posts.
Dr. Sim who is also the Minister for Local govt and Housing said the party’s central secretariat did not receive more than five forms as the nomination closed at 4pm Thursday, thus there will be no contest for the top five posts.
He disclosed this after chairing the SUPP Central Committee Meeting (CWC) meeting at the party’s headquarters here.
The top five posts are president, secretary-general, two deputy presidents and treasurer.
A total of over 500 SUPP delegates from all over the state are expected at the party’s Triennial Delegates Conference (TDC) tomorrow for the election of Central Committee (CC).
