Tan Kai – UPP does not believe in BN principle of consensus
Youth Central Chairman said it is fortunate that UPP is not in Barisan Nasional as they do not believe in BN principles of consensus.
Tan said said this is the reason why BN survived all these years since 1974 and UPP is being disrespectful to the BN supreme council.
In the last election, he said UPP should realised that none of the candidates are from UPP but they were forced to go under BN direct Candidate which is not align to any political party. They were supposed to go to any BN political parties after winning which they did not. “They have gone against the wishes of the late Chief Minister, Tok Nan,” said Tan Kai.
He said by dividing seats is not called unity and as they are playing into hidden hands. “Since most of UPP members are SUPP members and representing SUPP in various capacities over many years, SUPP door is always open and welcome them to come home,” he added.
