Complaints of speeding vehicles

SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief, Wilfred Yap helped residents of Lorong 2, Stampin Resettlement Scheme who complained of speeding vehicles which posed a grave danger to the residents and other road users. They had informed that there were a few road accidents that happened recently causing anxiety to the residents of Lorong 2.

They also informed that on most evenings, there are also cyclists, joggers and strollers using the road leading to their housing estate. As such, they had requested for speedhumps to be constructed  as a safety precaution to prevent people from speeding in the neighbourhood.

Following the  complaint received, Wilfred Yap together with SUPP members had gone to inspect and assess the situation and also to see what can be done to resolve the problem.

On a separate matter, SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief Wilfred Yap and SUPP members living in Stampin Resettlement Scheme shall continue to serve as the eyes of the community to ensure that the roads in Stampin Resettlement Scheme are in good condition and maintained properly for the benefit of the community living there. Wilfred Yap will continue to highlight and try to resolve issues of public interest affecting the community living in Stampin Resettlement Scheme.
