Access to information for residents through ICT

YB Lo Khere Chiang ADUN N13 Batu Kitang recently presented a laptop and a printer each to Kpg Bukit Panchor and Kpg Lidah Tanah of his constituency, to open up a world of possibilities to the less fortunate.

This is to encourage the Kampung folks with no equipment access to empower and drive themselves towards a digital economy Sarawak.

YB Lo is optimistic that the laptops could help the kampung folks to get more information as well as enhancing their knowledge and skills with regards to information and communication technology (ICT). YB Lo believes strongly that ICT literacy can improve the income and livelihood of the people.

YB Lo would like to called on the people in Batu Kitang constituency to make full use of the internet and modern communication gadgets in business, employment, marketing and other socio economy fields to support our CM Datuk Amar Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Abang Haji Openg’s vision of a Digital Economy, producing a sustainable income society in the future.
