Damaged fire hydrant in Kampung Sentosa
SUPP Bukit Assek Youth Chief, Joseph Chieng, said a damaged fire hydrant in Kampung Sentosa could have delayed firefighting efforts during a fire on Monday night – causing three families to loose their homes.
Chieng and SUPP Dudong and Bukit Assek branch who visited the fire victims were told of the faulty fire hydrant.
The firemen has to search for another fire hydrant as the one in front of the burning house was not working. He said this delayed the effort of fire fighting.
The SUPP members were also there to hand over food stuffs to the affected families.
