Milton on land title, land transfer issues raised by DAP

YB Violet mentioned about land title and land transfer issues at BDC Stampin Resettlement and Sg Apong Baru during her press conference at site on 13/7 which was published in local newspapers yesterday.

Who are the law makers and YBs for the past 11 years in the above constituencies, i.e. Kota Sentosa and Pending?

Not to forget before the last state election, DAP captured most if not all the Chinese seats in urban area and got so many YBs in both State and Parliament. As law maker, those many DAP YBs over so many years have failed to change or amend the law for the benefit of the people.

It only shows how incompetent and ineffective of DAP YBs in the Dewan Undangan to bring any changes to the unfavorable law.

It’s not about changing the government policy but changing the law itself as every policy is derived based on certain law enacted. As an Adun for Pending, she is slapping her own face by saying that the land title and land transfer issues at her own constituency remain outstanding and unresolved for the past 10 years.

It’s also unbelievable that a law maker is urging the government to resolve issues encountered by the people where the underlying root of the issue lies in the law making process. As ADUN in Dewan Undangan, not only YB Violet and YB Chong should bring up the land title issue for debate but also show result by having the law amended for the good sake of the people. (Not only raised it in DUN but also have the law passed in DUN)

The fact that she admitted this issue is still outstanding shows her incompetency as opposition law maker to perform check and balance and thus unbefitting to be a YB for Pending as she let people down especially voters from Pending.
