Spreading Raya cheers by i-CATS Mechanical Engineering Students
The recent community service initiative by i-CATS Mechanical Engineering Students at Kampung Haji Baki, Jalan Batu Kitang got off to a positive start, thanks to the support of Batu Kitang Assemblyman YB Cr. Ir. Lo Khere Chiang.
As part of the community service initiative, the students, together with their lecturers, members of the i-CATS management team and Batu Kitang Assemblyman YB Lo Khere Chiang brought a touch of festive cheer to eighty-four-year-old En Tekong bin Darmo, a longtime resident of Kampung Haji Baki by cleaning his house and putting up curtains.
The students also presented various food items to En Tekong. Lo presented En Tekong with a new gas stove, gas cylinder and a mattress.
