Application for financial allowance approved
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap together with SUPP members recently went back to visit an individual residing at BDC Resettlement Scheme, Kuching to inform her that the Social Welfare Department had approved her application for financial welfare incentive allowance of RM300.00 per month.
The incentive allowance for persons with disabilities(OKU) is given to encourage OKUs to sustain an income to meet their basic needs and to encourage them to be a productive member of our community.
The person concerned had earlier in March 2017 asked for assistance from SUPP Public Complaints Bureau to assist her in applying for financial welfare assistance.
