Looking into the needs of Marudi Hospital
Local Government Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian has noted the request from Marudi Hospital director Dr Wong Song Yeu for a 4WD ambulance and for the emergency room of the hospital to be extended.
Dr Wong said they needed the 4WD ambulance in view of the condition of the Miri-Marudi road.
On the request for street lighting to the Federal Quarters, Dr Sim said he was looking at installing a solar system for the street lights.
Dr Sim will also look into the request for additional air conditioners.
Dr Sim received these requests when he visited Marudi Hospital yesterday afternoon.
Marudi Hospital was built on Oct 15, 1965.
