Burst water pipe at Jalan Stutong BDC repaired
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SPCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap was recently approached by residents staying at Lorong B, Jalan Stutong near Wisma Satria Jaya, BDC, Kuching who requested for his assistance to request the relevant party to urgently repair a broken underground main water pipe that was leaking huge quantities of water.
The matter was immediately highlighted and brought up to the attention of the Kuching Water Board (KWB).
The broken main water pipe has been repaired by a contractor appointed by KWB.
Since a lot of people are still not familiar on how to contact KWB on water pipe leakages, SUPP PCB would like to inform that KWB can be contacted for reporting of water leakages and unauthorised usage or illegal connection at KWB’s 24 hour hotline 082-222333 or the public can SMS their report to KWB through 019-8866650.
