Ministry of Education Malaysia’s Special allocations for Chinese School in Sarawak, in Kuching and Bintulu.
State Local Minister, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui hain witnessed the presentation of cheques to 120 schools from central and northern region, and 66 schools from southern region of Sarawak by YBDS Mahdzir Khalid, Minister of Education with the total amount of RM9.04 million.
The Education Mini ster said he will continue to assist the SJK programme which has encountered no problems in the past 50 years
Minister of Local Government Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian; Bintulu MP Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing; deputy secretary general (Education Development ) of the Ministry of Education Datuk Seri Azmi Lateh; director general of education Tan Sri Dr Khir Mohamad Yusof; state deputy education director Abang Mat Ali Abang Masagus; Bintulu education officer Fred Entau; SJKC board of governors chairman Datuk Pui Kian Onn and representatives of Sarawak Chinese school management board were among those present at the presentation ceremony.
