School in need of repair
Piasau State Assemblyman, Dato’ Sebastian Ting together with Temenggong, Pemanca, Penghulu went to the SK Agama (MIS) for a site visit.
Last year November, he said they had written a letter to the Ministry of Education (MOE) for some allocation for the school to do some repairing and on 28th Nov 2016, the Minister of MOE had approved RM 750,000.00 for the school.
According to Cikgu Zaidi, they have received the approval letter from the ministry but have yet to receive the fund. Dato Sebastian Ting on the spot had sent a note to the officer in MOE to follow up on the approved allocation.
During the site inspection on the building, some parts are noted to be really damaged and in dangerous condition. Cikgu Zaidi mentioned that the school have put up some notice signs to inform everyone not to get near to these areas.
