SPCB assisted in the clearing of blocked drains in Taman Hin Yu

SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SPCB) was recently approached by residents staying at Jalan Taman Hin Yu, 4^th Mile, Off Jalan Penrissen, Kuching who requested for his assistance to request the relevant parties to urgently clear blocked drains which was causing flash flood during heavy rain and causing great inconvenience to the residents of the Taman Hin Yu.

The residents were also concerned that the drains at Jalan Taman Hin Yu were narrow with certain sections still earth drains and requested that an application be made on their behalf to the relevant authorities to repair the affected part of the drains and construct concrete drains for the section which are still earth drains as it would clog the drain

The matter was immediately highlighted and brought up to the attention of the relevant authorities. The blocked drains have since been cleared.
