Visit to Swinburne University campus
The Chief Minister, Datuk PatingginTan Sri (Dr) Haji Adenan bin Haji Satem who is on a weeklong working visit to Melbourne, Australia today visited the Swinburne University campus at Wakefield Road as part of his itinerary.
Adenan and members of his entourage arrived at the university at 12.00 noon local time.
They were received by the Chancellor, Mr. Graham Goldsmith and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Linda Kristjanson.
The Chief Minister spent about half-an-hour in discussion with Mr Goldsmith & Professor Kristjanson before being treated to a lunch and a presentation at the campus.
The chief minister was accompanied by his wife, Datin Patinggi Datuk Amar Hajah Jamilah Haji Anu, the Minister of Local Government, Datuk Professor Dr. Sim Kui Hian and his wife, Datin Enn Ong Siok Ean.
Other members of the entourage were the Director of State Planning Unit, Datu Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki and the Principal Private Secretary to the Chief Minister, Mr. Wan Khalik bin Wan Muhammad.
