Lo helping out with a 71 year old patient from Batu Kitang Lama
Batu Lintang State Assemblyman, Lo Khere Chiang paid a visit to Yon bte Wek, a 71 year old woman from Batu Kitang Lama who is waiting to be operated on her femur.
Lo said the total cost of the operation is RM4,500 and he had arranged with the welfare department to assist her with a contribution of RM2,500 , while the Sarawak general hospital will cover the rest.
He said he was earlier learned of Yon’s predicament on September 18.
Aside from wanting to assist in the financial aspect, Lo’s visit is also to encourage her to remain strong.
