Siniawan as a tourist hotspot
Local Government Minister Senator Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian suggested that the community in Siniawan set up a museum dedicated to War Heroes during the Japanese Occupation besides making it a popular tourism spot.
Dr. Sim who paid a visit to Pesta Siniawan, said the place had been broadcast by CCTV in related to the China’s history and is one of the national heroes for China during the Japanese Occupation.
He said Siniawan needs more facilities including a proper waterfront project which would attract visitors and tourists and they could start off with a signage bearing the town’s name.
