Teng doing his best for Sarikei

The Sarikie District office has take immediate action to assist a single mother with three children who lives in a dilapidated house in Baron Namkiew, Sarikei. Political secretary to the Chief Minister, Teng Ung Woo who helped highlight the issue, hoped that the single mother with 3 schooling children with her will lessen her burden.

Teng thanked Shanta Douglas from the Sarikei DO for seeing to the problem immediately. Also with him to see the family were SUPP Sarikei Organising secretary Ting Sing Fee, assistant treasurer Lu Chu Yu, Yong Man Seng , Kapitan Ling Kah Ho, Kapitan Tham Kok Chi, Kpt Kong Shaw Phan, Tuai Rumah Jerome, youth assistant treasurer Teng King Hock, youth members

Teng also paid a courtesy Call to Divisional Engineer Hiew Xi Dian Of Sarikei Drainage and Irrigation Department / DID.

Among the Issues raised with him were:

1. Storm water management and Drainage system master plan for Sarikei and Bintangor

2. Monsoon Drain for Sarikei and Bintangor

3. Upgrading of Existing out of date drainage system

4. Unsilt the stream and river in Sarikei and Bintangor to improve the land use for agriculture purposes.

With Teng were Cr Kua Soon Lee, Cr Lau Pick Hung, Mr Yii See San, SUPP Sarikei youth secretary Yong Sing Tai, youth assistant Treasurer Teng King Hock.
