SUPP WOMEN SECTION
Barisan Nasional Women’s 2014 National Meeting was held at Wisma PWTC in Kuala Lumpur on March 4th . The meeting was chaired by its Chairman Dato’ Sri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil.
SUPP Central Women Section Chairman Amy Tnay and its Secretary Ling Ngar Yieng were invited to attend the meeting, along with the Wanita Chiefs from other BN component parties such as MCA and MIC.
SUPP Woman Central Chief, Tnay who celebrated the occasion with her Woman’s wing members urged more professional women to join politics. She said women has been successful to cross the gender barrier and traditional thinking that women should be at home. Most, she added, holds high ranking jobs and are successful women. She urged the woman to join the political field to have more say in the making of policies concerning the country.
