Protecting traditional medicine practitioners
Minister of Local Government, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian, called for the protection of traditional medicine practitioners from any fraud practitioners as Chinese medicines has been used for a long time in Sarawak.
He said although Sarawak has progressed into a developed state, we should not leave out traditional medicine practitioners, thus we must also give them our recognition and protect them.
Dr. Sim was making his speech at the Chinese Physicians Association Charity Medical Check Up held at the Kenyalang Park Community Centre this morning, an event organized by the Kenyalang Park Community Association (KPCA.)
He also hoped that there will be more collaboration among the traditional medical practitioners.
A total of 15 Chinese Physicians were present during the charity medical drive and some of them flew all the way from Taiwan and China for the event.
