叶耀星：房东与租户须立租赁以避免纠纷
房屋出租须要有一纸合法租赁合约！ 砂人联党公共投诉局主任叶耀星近期接获接获民众要求协助处理房东与租户之间的纠纷，这些纠纷的引起，通常都是因为没有一份合法的租凭合约。 他建议民众必须按照双方之间的协议拟定租凭合约；以保障自己权益，避免在日后引发纠纷。若租户与业主之间有合法的租约，都将参考租约里双方同意的条件，进而解决问题。反之，很难辨别谁是谁非。 叶耀星强调，租凭合约是屋主与租客之间的法律契约。租户在偿还租金之后可以合理使用房东的房产。因此，房屋租赁合约是非常重要的一份法律文件。许多人忽视的另一件事是租凭合约印花盖章的重要性。租赁合约必须拿到税收局做印花盖章（stamping）方能提呈法院成为证据。 他也建议民众委托律师拟定一份合法的租凭合约以保障双方的权益；避免在日后产生纠纷。 人联公共投诉局已做好准备并尝试通过相关部门解决影响社区的公共议题。人联党公共投诉局已准备好为面对相关问题却不懂得如何处理的民众伸出援手。任何相关事宜可联系人联党公共投诉（016-7797688或082246999）或亲临人联党总部。

沈桂贤：砂政府重视人力资源培训
砂地方政府及房屋部长兼石角区议员拿督沈桂贤强调，砂拉越政府从已故前砂首长丕显斯里阿德南沙登时代开始，积极推动技职教育发展，甚至透过砂拉越基金局为莘莘学子提供奖学金，确保他们拥有机会深造。 他指出，砂拉越政府除了透过提升基本设施来改善人民生活素质之外，亦透过成立技术卓越中心为人民提供技职培训，不仅是为国家提供稳定的人力资源，借此也能提高低阶家庭的收入。 沈桂贤日前出席技术卓越中心（CENTEXS）与砂多媒体委员会（SMA）2019远征活动上致词时表示，砂政府从来没有忽略那些无法继续升学的毕业生，透过成立技术卓越中心为他们提供各项短期技职培训课程，以便为砂拉越提供更多技术人才。 他说，透过技术卓越中心，学员可选择有意涉足的领域包括数码、文化遗产、技术、石油与天然气、电子等技职课程，只要完成课程都能获得国际级的认证证书，适用于普遍的职场需求。他希望砂拉越人能把握政府提供的机会踊跃报读技术课程，尤其是乡区人民可透过技职工作来提高家庭收入。 砂拉越技术卓越中心首席执行员赛莫哈末胡先在活动上表示，该中心目前提供6个领域共28项的课程，包括石油与天然气、电子与端口、建设、纺织品与待客，及电子领域，所有课程以短期方式进行。 他指出，该中心目前与著名手机生产商华为展开合作，为学员提供多项数码数据课程，学员可获得由华为颁发的国际级认证书。技术卓越中心远征活动首站在沐胶展开，第二站去到木中、第三站老越、第四站伦乐，第五站来到石角。

沈桂贤：议会通过修宪动议证明砂人民不再任由摆布
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤表示，与1976年的情况相比，如今的砂拉越人民已经对权益意识更有醒觉。 他说，砂拉越人民如今更了解1963年建国契约及跨政府级别委员会报告在56年前赋予砂拉越的特别权益及保障。这是马来西亚极为重要的历史，但遗憾的是，这些在学校教科书无法学习到。 过去50多年，砂拉越人不理解本身拥有的权益。对于当代领袖的作为，历史是最佳的审判。有些领袖极力根据属于国际条约的1963年建国契约捍卫及保障砂拉越权益，以致自己付出沉重的代价，甚至牺牲生命。 他强调，砂人联党的先贤当初认为砂拉越人民还未准备好参组马来西亚，甚至一度争取砂拉越独立。这是因为当时砂人联党领袖看到参组马来西亚的危机存在，比起更为先进的马来亚，砂拉越无法极力捍卫自己的利益。 历史证明砂人联党是正确的，砂人联党的先贤已经清楚表达了对参组马来西亚的担忧。过去数十年来，发生在砂拉越的更多是悲伤的事，财富及权力被剥削，砂拉越的年轻一代不得不离开家乡，远赴西马工作。 “我们不能改变过去及历史，但我们可以决定未来，阻止剥夺权益的事继续发生。我们必须勇敢前进，为砂拉越人争取更好的未来。” 沈桂贤表示，砂人联党及砂政党联盟的伙伴必须坚决捍卫立场，索回一切被剥夺的权益，尤其是恢复与西马平等的地位。索回的权益，一分都不能少。 他说，砂议会通过的修宪动议，显示砂拉越人已经真正醒觉。这也带出强烈的讯息，即砂拉越人民不再像过往，像1976年那样，任人摆布。 “我们在1963年没参与参组马来西亚，也没有参与1976年的修宪，但我们如今实实在在站在这里，纠正过去的错误。砂拉越人应该团结，为未来做对的决定。”
