砂拉越人民联合党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员对于上诉庭今日推翻高庭裁定选委会重新划分砂拉越州选区无效的裁决，表示尊重。 他表示，这是我国有史以来首宗，选委会选区重新划分的建议被带上法庭挑战。古晋高庭今年5月裁决，选委会在报章上刊登的新选区划分建议通告违宪和无效。选委会随后提出上诉。 然而，以拿督莫哈末查华威为首的上诉庭三司，一致批准选委会所提出的上诉。 沈桂贤认为，上诉庭的裁决非常重要，因为它是涉及公众利益。 尽管如此，他强调，砂人联党始终都坚持“一人一票”的原则。 他也表示，砂人联党并非是华裔或城市政党，而是多元政党，并拥有土著议席。 因此，在这立场下，任何选区重新划分，若新选区是来自砂人联党传统竞选的选区，就必须归于砂人联党。举例来说，若文莪区划分为两个选区，那么自然地，这两个选区都是属于砂人联党出战。

陈超耀：为马航MH370所有罹难者致哀
砂拉越人民联合党呼吁全国上下人民一起为马航MH370所有罹难者致哀，并期望其家属坚强渡过难关。 砂拉越人民联合党中央秘书长拿督陈超耀今日发表文告指出，尽管马航MH370班机坠毁迄今已515天，但是人联党全体同仁对该空难事件的心情依然沉重，亦能深深感受到罹难者家属在这段期间因失去亲人、等待当局搜寻结果那种备受煎熬的心情，令人倍感同情。 他说，人联党再次向机上239名罹难者家属致以最深切的哀悼和慰问。 他说，随着首相纳吉今天凌晨宣布，一支国际专家团队已经证实，在留尼汪岛发现的飞机残骸，确实属于MH370。相信这将逐渐解开马航MH370班机“失踪”期间，许多人对此空难事件作出各种不同的揣测的谜团。无论如何，失去亲友家人的悲痛却是难以磨灭的记忆。 他续说，首相纳吉承诺，政府将尽一切所能找出真相，表示马来西亚将永远记得飞机上失去的生命。 资料显示，马航MH370班机原定从吉隆坡飞往北京，但于2014年3月8日凌晨1点30分与航空控制中心失去联络，震惊全球。 首相纳吉在同年3月24日宣布，根据卫星资料分析，MH370飞机已在澳洲珀斯以西的南印度洋坠落。其间，共有26个国家参与搜寻，属于航空史上之最，搜索范围从南中国海到印度洋，但一无所获，直到最近留尼汪岛的重大发现。 飞机失踪515天后，在留尼汪岛发现的飞机残骸，经证实来自MH370。

沈桂贤：非国阵成员党绝不能出战

Annual Kuching festival
Party President Sim Kui Hian went on the ground with Tan Sri James Masing, President PRS, Datuk Wilfred, Secretary PRS, Dato Sebastian Ting and Cr of MBKS at the Annual Kuching festival on 3rd August. A total of 260 delicious food stalls and 190 trade fairs were set up, with an attendance of a huge number of visitors every nite. It is truly a yearly attraction for locals and tourists.
