Where is the RM 4 millions, Lo Khere Chiang asks Chong Chieng Jen

Stampin candidate (GPS-SUPP) Lo Khere Chiang wants DAP Chong Chieng Jen to tell the public where his RM4 million given to all Opposition MPs during the signing of the MOU between them and former Prime minister.

The MOU was then signed in September last year to continue with political stability.

The other conditions included covid 19 plan, adminstrative transofrmation, parliemntary reforms, judiciary independence and Malaysia agreement 63.

In a press conference today yesterday at his SUPP Batu Kitang branch, Lo told off Chong for not knowing his job as a parlimentarian. He said Chong can only talk big and lie and since he was ADUN and MP, he had never shown his report cards.

Lo said no one have not seen Chong’s report card. The RM4 million, tell me where you spend it, don’t talk big and misled the community, he said.

Chong, according to Lo has neglected Stampin during his tenure as MP. He was rarely seen at Stampin but only released press statements in the comfort of his office.

Lo said his own report card as Batu Kitang state assemblyman was to go to the ground daily. “All the people can see me and know what I have been doing. Give the MP job to me. I will show you how a true Parliamentarian should work. Not like Chong winning the seat and helping his counter part in West Malaysia to bully Sarawak. Enough is enough,” he added.

Asking the public to give him the chance, Lo assured that he will fight for Sarawak in Parliament. He will make sure that Malaya respect and honor the MA 63 to return to what belongs to Sarawak. “As MA 63 is enshrine under Federal constitution, it is time they give us back the Health and Education autonomy back. I do not want to be like Chong saying that as long as they are the government, these things will automatically be reverted back. “There is no such thing. We have to fight for Sarawakians. GPS will not lie but prove to you all. So ensure that all the 31 seats are for GPS and 25 for Sabah to strengthen East Malaysia to have a louder voice in Parliament,” he added.

On Thursday afternoon at Mile 3 bazaar, Lo and Chong had a standoff at the fire scene. Chong accused Lo of not doing his job well while Lo told him off that Chong being an MP should know that Bomba is a federal issue. The firemen took a while to look for the fire hydrant and the hoses of the Bomba were leaking. A coffee shop at the area was razed. Firemen managed to control the fire from spreading to adjancent buildings.

Lo pointed out coincidentally, in one of his manifesto points, he had asked for a Bomba to be constructed in Stampin. The nearest Bomba, he said is in Kuching and Bau. So should there be any fire in between, there is no fear of traffic jam or long distance for firemen to get to the fire.

Another point in his manifesto, Lo said he wanted to highlight that federal agencies in Sarawak should give Sarawak branch autonomy to make decision as there is no need to get permission from West Malaysia.
