Wilfred Yap takes care of leaking pipes
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief Wilfred Yap recently attended to the business community of 7th Mile had complained about a burst main water pipe at Lorong Liu Shan Bang 6A causing great inconveniences to their customers.
Following the request for assistance received, the complaint was immediately communicated to Kuching Water Board and the burst main water pipe have been repaired.
Yap said during his regular “turun padang” activity with local community leaders and SUPP members are frequently approached by residents and business community for assistance to carry out improvement and repair works to damaged infrastructure facilities like burst pipes, faulty street lighting, drains and roads. Following such requests for assistance received, the problems are always immediately communicated to the relevant authorities for their immediate action to rectify the complaints.
Wilfred Yap who is also SUPP Kota Sentosa Branch Chairman and SUPP members said he will continue to serve the local community regardless of their political inclinations (“people over politics”) by resolving their complaints. SUPP Public Complaints Bureau and Kota Sentosa Branch shall continue to be focused and fully committed to serving the “rakyat”.

Talikhidmat was set up by the Sarawak Government as a one stop communication channel for the public to effectively reach government departments or agencies and local authorities.
