GPS will remain independent, says President of SUPP, Dato’ Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian
Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) President Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian is confident that Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) will remain independent despite the political turmoil in West Malaysia.
He said Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg had on Feb 6 affirmed that the coalition will remain independent and not team up with any Malayan parties after chairing GPS supreme council meeting.
” OUr position of GPS is that whatever problem they face that side is their problem, not Sarawak’s problem thus we will only observe and monitor. We are focusing our energy and resources to help Sarawakians rather than to be involved in power struggle,” he added.
