Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting expressed his shock when he received news that Tusan Beach Horse head has collapsed. 砂旅遊、艺术及文化部助理部长拿督陈超耀律师表示，他对美里杜山“野马喝水”岩石崩塌事件感到遗憾。 他将向砂政府建议造仿制野马，以纪念已塌毁的野马。 他表示，今早9时许他已接到消息，但他希望这消息不是真的，为了确认，他亲临现场了解情况，果然是真事，令他感到非常伤心。 他说，野马喝水岩石崩塌事件令人感到非常伤心，州政府因为杜山海边能吸引更多游客来观光，在这些年来拨款提升当地设备。 无论如何，他将会向州政府建议造仿制野马，以纪念曾经吸引外国游客的野马喝水岩石。
