{"id":8295,"date":"2015-11-03T21:21:18","date_gmt":"2015-11-03T13:21:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=8295"},"modified":"2015-11-03T23:54:05","modified_gmt":"2015-11-03T15:54:05","slug":"attributes-of-supp-potential-candidates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=8295","title":{"rendered":"Attributes of SUPP potential candidates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SUPP Secretary General, Dato&#8217; Sebastian Ting on the main attributes of SUPP potential candidates in the coming election.<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 LOYALTY TO THE PARTY<\/p>\n<p>1.1\u00a0\u00a0 This is extremely important as Party members throughout Sarawak expect potential candidates to be\u00a0 loyal to the Party at all times, before, during and after the State Election 2016.<\/p>\n<p>1.2\u00a0\u00a0 The potential candidates must know, believe, follow and adhere to the Principles of the Party and that the interests of the Party must be over and above personal interests in all circumstances.<\/p>\n<p>1.3\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 They must honestly and openly acknowledge, without reservation whatsoever, that it is the Party (SUPP) that provides or offers such opportunities to them to be candidates for election in the coming State Election 2016.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 INTEGRITY HONESTY TRUST SINCERITY AND CREDIBILITY<\/p>\n<p>2.1\u00a0\u00a0 Our Party and members would like to emphasize the importance of these core values of potential candidates.<\/p>\n<p>2.2\u00a0\u00a0 They must possess and uphold the highest integrity and honesty in their actions and thoughts at all times.<\/p>\n<p>2.3\u00a0\u00a0 Potential candidates must be sincere in serving our members and the people at large. They must be credible and in so doing be able to gain the trust and confidence from the people.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0\u00a0 HARD WORK AND TEAM WORK<\/p>\n<p>3.1\u00a0 Potential candidates are to be recommended from all our respective 21\u00a0 branches. Indeed, our Party Central has received all the names of the potential candidates for all the seats.<\/p>\n<p>3.2\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Our\u00a0 potential candidates are on the ground with the people, listening to them and sharing with them. Our people must be on the ground as we have so many members in all our traditional 19 seats and the other new seats to be allocated to SUPP.\u00a0 We cannot neglect them and therefore must continue to be with them and serve them in order to win their hearts and minds.\u00a0 We hope that the people can see and feel our genuine sincerity and thus will be comfortable with us.<\/p>\n<p>4\u00a0\u00a0 UNITY<\/p>\n<p>4.1\u00a0 We believe in genuine Unity.\u00a0 This time we have this after our Annual Delegates Conference (ADC) and Central Committee meeting which were held on the 31st October 2015 and 1st November 2015 respectively<\/p>\n<p>4.2\u00a0 The energy generated and the thoughts of our delegates during the debate of our Party President&#8217;s speech , YB Senator Datuk Dr Sim Hui Kian at our just concluded Annual Delegates Conference were amazing and all were converging towards Unity, Planning, Strategies and the bigger vision for SUPP to win all the 19 seats and new seats to be allocated in the coming election.\u00a0 The shouts of SAA&#8217;TI was indeed loud and from the hearts.
