The SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SPCB) was recently approached by residents of 6 \u00bd Mile, Penrissen Road, Kota Sentosa who complained to on an illegal rubbish dump by the road side of a recycling business about 2 weeks ago.<\/p>\n
After listening to the residents and after making a preliminary assessment of their problem, SPCB on behalf of the residents of 6 \u00bd Mile, Penrissen Road, Kota Sentosa have highlighted and notified Majlis Perbandaran Padawan (MPP) on the illegal rubbish dump and requested MPP to take immediate action to solve the problem.<\/p>\n
Officers from the Enforcement and Public Health Department of Majlis Perbandaran Padawan (MPP) have now issued a Summons for a compound fine under the Local Authorities (Cleanliness) By-Laws 1999 to the business operator of the recycling business who also agreed to reimburse MPP for the cost of clearing up the illegal rubbish dump.<\/p>\n
