Wilfred  Yap hands over RTP funds to Kota Sentosa health clinic for parking facilities, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kota Sentosa Assemblyman, Wilfred Yap today handed over two Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) 2025 projects worth a combined RM300,000, providing 70 additional parking bays at Klinik Kesihatan Kota Sentosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The projects are aimed at improving accessibility, convenience and traffic flow for patients, visitors and healthcare personnel, while strengthening the supporting infrastructure of one of the key public healthcare facilities serving Kota Sentosa and surrounding communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The handover was carried out together with officers from the Majlis Perbandaran Padawan (MPP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two projects are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Construction of Parking Area at Klinik Kesihatan Kota Sentosa (Phase 2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cost: RM250,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contractor: Syarikat Sinar Nasco<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Construction of New Parking Area at Klinik Kesihatan Kota Sentosa (Facing Jalan Besar)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cost: RM50,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contractor: Syarikat Pembinaan Kemuncak Emas<\/p>\n\n\n\n

YB Wilfred said the additional parking capacity would provide much-needed relief for the clinic, which serves a large number of residents every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

> \u201cHealthcare facilities must not only provide quality medical services; they must also have the supporting infrastructure needed to serve the community effectively. These 70 additional parking bays will make access to the clinic more convenient, safer and more organised for patients, families and healthcare staff.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stressed that the projects reflected the Sarawak GPS Government\u2019s commitment to practical, people-centred development, with RTP allocations directed towards addressing real needs identified on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is what development should be about \u2014 identifying genuine needs, allocating resources and delivering projects that people can see and benefit from. Every ringgit invested must translate into better facilities and a better quality of life for our people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the programme, Yap also handed over two cheques of RM3,000 each, amounting to a total of RM6,000, in additional support for relevant community initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe will continue working closely with MPP and the relevant agencies to identify and address infrastructure needs in Kota Sentosa. Our priority is simple, deliver, solve problems and make a real difference to our community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
