SUPP Sarikei Youth Chairman, Teng Ung Woo urged all party members to work together as one and continue to help the younger generation on education matters.<\/p>\n
Speaking at a SUPP Sarikei branch New Year celebration with the Woman\u2019s Wing, Teng said he hoped to see more youths joining the party so that they could be strong and face the storm outside.<\/p>\n
Teng said despite the loss of seats in Sarikei, the party will continue with their activities and do their best to assist the people. He said they should not give up that easily.<\/p>\n
He called to the students to work hard and learned as much as they can as they are the future leaders of the country and to be knowledgeable is one of the criteria in being a leader.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, SUPP Sarikei Women Chief Kapitan Hoo Suk Ngo in her speech urged all party members to stand strong to support the Party.<\/p>\n
She said the women will not give up in doing their best to service the people and believed that in the long run, the people will come back to their fold.<\/p>\n
Hoo said SUPP Sarikei losses in the DUN seat in 2011 state election, and the loss of Parliamentary seat during GE 13 last year made them feel sad but they would not let negative feelings take over. \u201cWe must continue,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
