{"id":35069,"date":"2026-06-26T15:38:34","date_gmt":"2026-06-26T07:38:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=35069"},"modified":"2026-07-15T15:40:34","modified_gmt":"2026-07-15T07:40:34","slug":"launching-of-phase-2-of-smart-classroom-for-sjkc-at-sjk-chung-hua-krokop-miri","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.suppnewsportal.com\/main\/?p=35069","title":{"rendered":"Launching of Phase 2 of Smart Classroom for SJKC at SJK Chung Hua Krokop, Miri"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Sarawak Deputy Premier and Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government, Dr Sim Kui Hian said the role played by Chinese school boards is not only to provide education for the development of Sarawak, but also to help shape the values of future Sarawakians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also called on students to remain in Sarawak after completing their studies and contribute to the state&#8217;s development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said every Chinese educational institution is an important part of the Chinese community, while children represent Sarawak&#8217;s future. As such, advancing education is essential to ensuring better opportunities for the next generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said this when officiating at the launch of the Smart Classroom at Chung Hua School in Miri. Under the programme, the Sarawak Government donated four interactive smart boards with integrated teaching systems to the school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr Sim said there are currently 182 government aided Chinese primary schools in Sarawak, of which 92 have been equipped with Smart Classrooms.
